Saba

Latest news!

Heat, heat and more heat! Well we are half way through August and its bee very hot for the SPA dogs. This means that it is also very hot for potential adopters walking around the SPA looking for a dog. Never the less we have had some super adoptions and surprisingly enough not too many arrivals.

We have had a lovely litter of Labador puppies arrive who will be available for adoption soon. But we don’t suppose that they will last long as they are very very cute! We hate having pups at the refuge and would love some local foster families, this is because when the pups arrive they are inevitably unvaccinated so are at risk on the refuge and also we all recognise the importance of early socialisation. Foster mums can make all the difference to pups and as we really get to know the pup its easier to ensure that it goes to the right family.

Of you are local to Carcassonne, have doggy experience and think that you could be a puppy foster mum then do please get in touch.

If you are more of a cat person, then we also need local kitten foster mums to look after litters of kittens until they have their second vaccination too!

SABA

Saba is a 2-year-old border collie cross who I feel s being overlooked at the refuge. She’s been with us since January and like most borders is an active, clever girl. There is no way at the refuge we can provide enough mental or physical exercise so we would love to find her an active, raining minded family as soon as possible.
